Oh my god! How time reali flies! Its d day 29th into year 2007 and in a day's time its a complete 1 full month. January will b leavin us so so soon ;(
Wif tat, it means tis Wednesday will b d last day for official screenin of CicakMan. I reali cant wait to get d official digits from both theatres. Cathay has been informin us tat CicakMan is 1 of d highest collectors for Malay movie here. But we reali duno cos we dun haf any figures from other Malay movies tat we can use as yardstick. But Im reali keepin my fingers crossed tat we will b D MOVIE for others to use as benchmark. ;)
So wats ahead in Febuary?
More business for us? More love? haha... Its time for lovin aniwae.. V-DAY!!!
But for me, I juz hope d sun will b out so tat I can go to d beach! Ok I cant get to Rawa Island cos of d monsoon season but Sentosa will do juz fine for Feb. At d same time, Im preparin for my stay in KL. Tats gona b in March n a full month stay. But I bet it will b great!
As for now, I juz wana chill n enjoy my search for beautiful beaches in Msia, for my short trip. ;)

CicakMan: Reachin its end?
Finally, Ive got some time to update my blog and to share wif u my hectic wk. Im not complaining, in fact I had d best weeks ever!! Honestly, d turnout @ Causeway point, d full house theatres every weekend juz makes me smile n reflect on how hard I struggle to make tis a success.
Lets recap.
11th January 2007
1st day of screenin and there's butterflies in my stomach. I duno how its gona b here. Norman aimed 5000 crowd in total. As usual, me answered wif full confident, " Insya Allah no prob" But god noes inside of me, there's not onli butterflies but there's earthworms, kangaroo, lions etc. hehe.
It was a wet evening. I left home at 1045pm to cross d border to fetch them. Honestly, it was my 1st time feelin a lil fear. Mayb cos d lanes of JB were so solemn n dark. N d rain makes d whole ambience worst. Doa punya doa... Mudah-mudahan selamat ;)
There's alil flood near Caltex (actually angle length). They came exactly midnite, juz like Cinderella. lol. Drive them into SG but b4 tat, we were held at Customs for some pixs taking while I was doing d autopass. But tis mamat who chked our car was kinda cute! Tapi kena kantoi dgn... Ish. Boring! hehe.
Checked in @a new hotel off Orchard Road. Not a bad place either. Quiet and nice interior. Me, AC n Ajim went for supper afta tat. So sempat lar bitchin.. hehe. But watever it is, AC memang baik. I reali respect him.

Got up early. It is still raining! It seemed tat everytime Norman is here, it rains! Gosh! hehe.
1) We went to Mediacorp for PrimeTime Morning recording. PTM is on CNA, so hopefully it will bring us across d borders.
2) Still in Mediacorp building, we had to do Malay News wif Hazlinda aka Fairlady. She's back for holis, so doin it part time. Sempat amik pix dgn CicakMan while the "boys" r doin their intw. 
3) Othman of Akhir Kata came to do an interview. Its pretty length and I saw d results last Thurs.. Awesome!
So by tis time we r so hungry so I asked AC if he wana eat at 1 of his fav place. So he ok n d rest ikot je... So makan @ Dahlia Cafe, Bussoroh Street. yummy!!!!Afta lunch, semua mcm ular!!! Everyone took a nap in d back of d cars... Headed for Manja photoshoot. Hopefully d results will b great!
4) D last interview was @ Screenbox ofis. Had to do Sungguh.com and also Santai (which will b out later tis Sun)
By 630pm we r all done wif interviews, so next stop is Sun Plaza. reali didnt noe wat to expect. But they told me d crowd was pretty good. N its true enuf! At least 300 fans came for autograph signing. They snapped pixs, buy merchandise n watch d movie.
Thank to MTV babes, Producer of MTVJUS Anne deary for being patient wif d crowd! Lurve u doll.. hehe
Day 1: Success! Topic for d day "NeWater" hehe. Onli those yg ada will understand! Yus, yus... hehe

I was reali feelin exhausted by now. But I must b strong to go thru another day of promo. Mana tak, d nite b4 lepak @ d hotel wif them till very late... So many stories, gosips, etc... hehe.
We reached Darul Ehsan @1145pm Cos y?? Norman's car broke down!! thank God, Pak Malau was there to gif AC a helpin hand! haha...
So d kids had chance to ask questions, take pixs wif CicakMan n d 2 "boys"...(not MEN but BOYS!! hehe) We went straight to Orchard Cineleisure to see the happenings there. Nothing much but juz to make sure everyting is going smoothly. Did an interview wif Kak Hanim @ Long John while havin lunch.
Reached Causeway point @2.30pm n my god! D crowd was too overwhelming! Approximately 2000 people were there. N for d 1st time in Singapore history, Malay movie received full house for 345pm,745pm n 945pm (d time were reschedule cos of d autograf signing) I was close to tears but I wana reached tat number! Tats d more important 1.
Send them back to d cosway n headed home.
Day 2: Success! Topic of d day... better not write it down lar.. kelakar seram! lol

I was sick! Flu, fever n feelin reali lethargic...

Im doin alrite. Alot of work esp for CicakMan. But Im sure it will b fruitful at d end of d day.
Yus sacrifised so much for it, so I dun see y cant I.
Btw, till date we haf reached more than 4000 crowd. So Im keepin my fingers crossed!
For those who haf not watch it, pls catch CICAKMAN at Cathay Causeway point, Orchard Cineleisure n Sun Plaza. For those who haf caugt d movie, spread d good words ard... Only 0.001% said its no good (duno y lar... Kalo film Barat boleh di agung2 kan.. ni film buatan org Islam tak di beri sokongan... susah! but we cant please everyone!!)

Very under d weather ;(
Hey peeps. So sorry! Ive been wanting to update my blog but Ive been under d weather since last Sunday afta d boys left... Ok they r old enuf to b men... But again, boys will b boys.. haha..

Gosh! They reali went all d way to show me their support!!! Janz haf been a great help from standees to marketing d novels n Cds. Janna for being d floor manager, Mama for being d accountant of d day and Ayah as our bodyguard! lol. Lurve u peeps!

2. MERBUK PLATOOON!
Without them, both event will not b so smoothly sailing! Pak Malau for our official driver of d event, Kak Lady d Lady Boss who arranges her crew; makin sure no pushing, grabbing of shirts etc. , Abg Jo who cant b there cos Dan is sick, but his support is always there!
To all d members of Team Merbuk, thank u from d bottom of my heart for making tis happen and being part of d event! Lurve ya'all ;)
3. The FANS!!!!
Tis is d craziest fans ever! Esp at Causeway Point, u guys queued from 1pm n created full house at d cinemas!! Thank you, thank you and thank you!!! KRU is so lucky to haf strong supportive fans like u guys! Do not stop supportin us ya... hehe..

Counting sheeps...Does it work?
Im havin sleepless nites. It started since last nite. I tossed and turned, tossed again and change my sleepin positions... tried so many times but it didnt seem to work! And Im so amaze that afta sleepless nite, I managed to b super awake and b able to go thru a hard day today.
Tis Cicak is drivin me to my max ability. It has even reached my max level for patience (like always I hate waiting...)! N kesian Razif (accounts) kana marah for nothing! So sorry beb... didnt mean to throw my temper on u but UPS reali suxs big time lar. I cant slp last nite cos of UPS! KL office haf sent out 8 cartons via UPS on Monday afternoon and they shld arrived by yesterday, yet nothing came! Then 2day at 950am, tis guy from UPS called and said he will deliver the good in 30mins... but tat 30mins nvr came... Ingatkan dia naik Adam Air, terus hilang... hehe... Rupanya dia naik sampan... Cos he came at 3.30pm afta I gaf UPS my very strong words. These parcels are so valueable tats y!!!! Aniwae I will write in to complain not only on d late delivery but also poor service!!! Tats y I said it suxs big time!
I had a very tiring day. So tired yet I still cant sleep! Gosh! How I wish I could just take wudhu and solat... But its tat time of d month plak! Ish...
Tink Im gona start counting sheeps or mayb recite few extracts from d Al-Quran to calm me down.

Aniwae, today is d big day people! CICAKMAN official screening in Singapore!
3 more days to go....
Ok seriosly I fil like shit! Not tat Im sick or tings haf been screwed up, its juz tat Im anxious, my stomac's not so well, my heart been beatin extremely fast and d list goes on... Its a terrible feelin... Its jz like waiting for ur boyfrend back from overseas... tat kinda feelin, if u noe wat I mean? U doesnt noe if he still feels d heat or shun tat cold shoulder on u....
Yes!! Im not talkin abt my "bf"... Its CICAKMAN to b exact! I reali duno wats d response given by Sporeans; hot or cold? Can I repeat success tat they haf done in Msia? Can I do a good job?? Not juz a good job but a real good one... Im a very meticulous person and I wana tings to go in order as plan. I reali duno.... I hope all will go well as planned.
Now tat the promo has been reshifted to Fri-Sat instead of Thurs-Fri, so Ive gotta replanned everyting. N I guessed everyting is in order now.
Lets do a check:
1) Hotel has been booked
2) Itenary all list down and submitted to those in d promo
3) Confirmed all interviews and photoshoots
4) Signed d airtime sales with Suria and Kids Central
5) Visit d premises for autograph signing
6) Approval from MDA (phew!!)
Ive also assigned Jana as d floor manager for d event. So she will b in charge of d venue, crowd control and settings of d autograf signing.
As for Janz, he's in charge of d sales of CicakMan OST.
Im glad Ive got my 2 siblings to help me out. N also my frends who are comin to support d movie. Im grateful! Alhamdulilah.
So for now, Im waitin anxiously for d day... 11th January... d very fateful day!
ps: Cathay Orchard is also screenin CICAKMAN!!! Way to go!

Tonics... Anyone?
Its been a hectic day for me 2day. Was @shop early in d mornin. Had to send d reel back to MDA (cos it was unwind ystday) and thank God Janna is ard so she went instead. Afta lunch, I dragged Janna to Fig N Olive where I met Azhar, d new manager of Bencoolen St branch. Had a discussion b4 heading for GV office.
D response for CicakMan is good so far. We've got 2 cinema confirmin their screenin ie Cathay Causeway point and EngWah Sun Plaza. Hopin Golden Village Tampiness Mall or Jurong Point will confirm asap. Then it will b great! Plans for promo and all had been arranged and fixed until Norman called and asked for it to b changed to Thurs-Fri instead of d wkends. So Ive gotta change everyting again... ;) But Im not complaining! Cos at least tis will keep me from feelin anxious, cold palms, heartbeat fasten by 100x.... Honestly Im jz worry abt CicakMan. Abt it being screen here... I reali hope people will come and watch it again.. Give me ur support ya!! Pls!!! hehe
Back at shop, I had to settle and plan for next wk and make everyting smooth sailing. D promo team in KL has 4-6people and Im doin all by myself here!! Thank God Janna hasnt started workin, so at least she's able to lend me her pairs of hand ;) Thanks sis.. Lurve ya for tat! hehe
Abg Ami came wif Nek Busu n d 2 lil kids n boought me my Victoria secret. Awesome!!!! N d pink bag is so so lovely!!!!! Gona keep it for souvenier. hehe
And now I wana shower then watch my fav Indo band on SCTV... UNGU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh Im so in love wif Pasha... hehe.

My 2007 Resolutions
Finally Ive got some peace n alil xtra time off my bz schedule to jot down my resolutions for tis yr. D heavy rain juz created d rite mood... N d song "Aku Cinta Padamu" remixed by Glenn Fredly is so suitable. (D initial singer was Sheila Majid but his rendition is awesome)
1) Save more money
In order for me to make my another dream come true (ie to buy myself a condo for my 27th bday) I need to save more money. But b4 I could, I need to make more money so tat will bring me to point 2.
2) Make as much money as possible.
Norman sms on 1st day of d yr was "Hope u n I will make more money tis yr" N Im so determined to make as much. Gonna work xtra hard for my bisnes, which alhamdulilah d response is gettin better tis yr n also KRU Singapore - see point 3
3) Bisnes
a)Jihan By Mona J (The Wedding Planner)
Tis yr I aim to make my own label Jihan by Mona J, a recognised household name. A reliable wedding planner wif reasonable pricing. N also to target 20 full wedding tis yr. ;)
b) KRU Singapore
2nd yr so profits should b in by end of tis yr.... Gonna sell more programs, create more sales n juz make more money! Responsibilities are greater now, so I shld start spendin more time on tis bisnes tat Norman has trusted me to.
4) Jihan as a better person
Alhamdulilah, 2006 has been a great yr for me. A new Jihan who is much more patient, who never complain abt being tired (well seldom nowadays), n main importantly, I do my solat as required. But I've always believe in improvin myself. Thus I take tis yr, to learn more abt d Al-Quran, to do more social work, to learn d art of lovin a man, learn to b more forgivin and to spend more quality time wif family n frends esp.
In nutshell to b a better granddaughter, daughter, sister, entrepreneur and frend.
Eversince 2006, I realise in makin my resolutions simple, easy to target n achievin it accordin to my pace. Tats d reason y my 06 resolutions r achieveable. So tis yr standards r higher. N tats d onli way for me to push myself.
I still haf my 1st dream in my concious mind ie to make my 1st million b4 30, but I wont target tis yr. Nx yr, Insya Allah.
As for now, Im gona work towards my resolutions. Ive got CicakMan comin up next wk n Im workin my butts out. Like juz now on mobile was Johan to talk abt d cinemas n on d ofis fone was my customer, askin abt my ideas on wedding dias. But I can do it! I noe I will!
So for now, Im out. Will b back in a few days to update abt CicakMan screenin, Kru comin to town for promo etc.

Short n Simple
Lets make tis entry a short n simple. Cos y??? Internet connections in Sg has been so f@#$ up! All thanks to d earthquake in Taiwan. Guess it will take 2wks to get all cleaned up.
Its been 2 days into d brand new yr... N I haf tis feelin, tis yr is gonna b my year! I juz feel so good abt tis yr! N definitely lookin forward to tis yr. Yeah baby, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I will drop by again wif my 2007 resolutions, haf lotsa in mind. But tis yr like d previos yr, its gonna b all about me. A brand new Jihan... ;)
But Ive got tis feelin... Tis great sensation tat Im ready... Ready to start preparin for my next chapter in life... Ready to allow a man to break d chain tats been lockin my heart up...Ready to b in LOVE!!!!!!!!! So who will he b?? Lets answer tis at d end of d yr ;)
