Mayb they planned to make it simple.

Last Saturday my kuzie Ijan got engaged at d age of 22.
Hey bro, tho we r not close but all d best aite.
N juz got d news tat my 2nd kuzie also got engaged at d age of 19!!!
So it means all Nek Ngah's cucu perempuan da tunang!!!!
Shahidah was d 1st to start, followed by Shikin JB n now Syiqin...

I attended Azmir's album launch yesterday n I muz say its a neatly done launch. Ive known Mir since 2005 during Anugerah days. I could still rmbr d performance tat left an impact on me; Mir wearin a maroon coat singing 'Kau Pergi Jua'. Perfect vocals. I could still rmbr he attending BillyZulkarnain launch (an event I 1st organized) 2gthr wif Fauzie, Chiko, Kharil Yusof and a few others. Mir is always determined to make it big. N I believe he can. Yesterday he proved everyone tat he can make it big. Im so proud of him.
Mir sang 6 songs; my favorites are Padamkan Cerita Cinta and Lagu Tidorku. His vocals improved, he connected to the audience and d musicians r juz way superb! But someting saddens me. There's no local artistes in sight! In our neighborin countries, wen 1 artiste does an album launch you can find others givin him/her d support despite being competitors. Healthy competition I would say. Like wen Glenn did his album launch last yr, Marcell, Dewi Sandra, Ello n a few others were there. But I dun c tat happening here. Where is d much needed support tat our local talents needed?? D industry is juz so small yet too much 'killing', 'stabbing' n being controlled by management. Tis is wat saddens me. I hope d next album launch I can c more local acts ;)
Aniwae, Janna came back juz in time for her graduation ceremony. Me, Mum, Tok Ayah n Nek Manah went to c her in her gown @ Meritius Mandarin. So proud tat she made it tis far... Another 2 yrs n u'll gain ur bachelor's degree. Yippe!!

Tis brought me to another issue which Im so pissed off. Pls for goodness sake, I will find a man wif d rite criterias. Man wif money doesnt determine my future! So wat if he's rich?? I rather find sum1 who noes how to make n find money instead(conclusion= hardworking n working smart). But moz importantly I would like to highlite is HE MUZ B A GOOD MUSLIM; sum1 who practices d 5 rukun Islam. Kalo kaya, tak solat n puasa buat apa?? Honestly, Im pissed wif sum people who kept asking me to woo him n stuffs. Pls lar.
I tink Ive said enuf. Gtg now. Jana's pixs juz makes me green wif envy... So d qn is, should I fogo my annual Bali trip n headed for Vienna-BudaPest instead?

SENSASI!
I met Syamie last Tuesday for a coffee session. It was good to see him afta such a long time. Maklumlar org da tunang, so gotta reduce time mtg me! hehhe. I was bz chattin wif him in d car then he dropped d bombshell. He's no longer wif her! WTF!! Gosh. Its over d last 2 months but he didnt noe how to tell me. I noe he's still upset so I didnt wana add salt to d wound. Instead I divert his attentions to other stuffs. It was all good.
Weekend was great for me. I heard d moz awaited news ever. Had a short conversation wif 'her' all d way across d borders n finally 'she' confessed tat they haf been a couple. Perfect! D much awaited news! So Miss F can cry her hearts out! hahaha.
2day was my most busiest day ever. I was invited to d launch of d new and Malay second station. Tis is slightly different. Its under Starhub Cable Vision and its has d most sensational name; SENSASI. D launch was kool. Different than expected. Networking was important for me n I did juz tat. Glad to mit Fahmi Rais, Puzi n also Rashid; d 3 main n important men behind Sensasi. Honestly I juz cant wait!! So mark ur calendar peeps, 6th August 7pm Channel 40.
Then I rushed to mit sum1 for coffee. Had a long chat wif him. Find out more abt him n yes, he's gorgeous! haha. Once coffee was done, I headed to my boutique as my students r havin their exams 2day. Abg Awie n Anjani were d invited judge. Not bad for starters. They sure noe how to make-up.
Ive got a whole loads tings to do 2mrw n Fri. But bz is good!
Its been a week since Jana's out for Vienna-Budapest-Pecs. Kinda quiet; no 1 to complain abt stuffs, no 1 to quarrel wif n no 1 to bitch wif! haha. Thank god she's comin home tis Sunday. Gona fetch her at d aiport. Im sure she gotta loads to talk abt, but rmbr my dear sis d art of listening as well.

Anugerah 2007
Like many haf know by now, Aliff Aziz has been announced as the winner for tis yr Anugerah. Ive expected tis. Cos wen I heard tat he's one of d top 4 finalists, I knew he could nail d grand prize despite not having a fantastic vocals. Simple reason; for marketing purpose.
Im not gona touched on how they fare during d comp cos to be very honest I did NOT watch d show entirely. It didnt make me glued in front of my TV set unlike Anugerah 05.(I was backstaged to b very exact during Anugerah 05 n there's where we spotted Fauzie n Azmir). Honestly, vocal, star quality n performance wise, I tink to date, tat is still d best Anugerah ever.
However, there is tis sum1 who did make me sit in front of my TV for a while. Im totally impressed wif his performance. Of cos, none other than RAUZAN, The WeatherMan!!!! Looking so good n all grown up now, he seriosly make me love hip hop once again! Not onli tat, he reali makes me wana go n support n attend all XSperformances. Yeah baby! I will support those who deserve d ultermost support n Rauzan is definitely 1 of them. Way to go boy! Definitely, he is d star of d nite. Awesome!
Ok dun ask me y Im at home instead of d studios.... remember d name kad tingy?? haha. Tat could b 1 of d factor! Im not bothered.
I cant wait to attend Cat's wedding tis wkend plus Azmir's launch next wk!
I will support local talents but only People who truly deserves my support... ;)

Trial on being a Tai-Tai
Abg Hary n Sue's wedding is finally over! Alhamdulilah.
It took a year to prepare everyting and the buzz took place from early July all d way till d 8th. Imagine havin to handle 2 full weddings!!! Mum helped out at Abg Hary's place n I took charge at Sue's. Everyone lended a helpin hand... n Abg Ami was very helpful. Thk u!
Lethargic from d event, I had to head for KL on d next nite. But thank God, everyting was arranged. Upon arrivin d hotel, I juz had to take d keys n dunked into d comfortness of d bed.
Tuesday: Wasnt feelin tat well, so I had american breakfast served while Im still in bed ;) Alangkah bahgia nya!! hehe. Headed for ofis soon after. Didnt noe Im not needed till afta lunch. Thks eh for d miscomm by sum1. Aniwae, I lepak at ofis till d conference was abt to start. It was juz a short n brief intro by d CEO. I was plannin for shopping rite afta tis n yes, I granted my own wish! Afta my hands were full, I went back to hotel for more food. Foot reflexology n body massage was next.Syiok giler!!! Terasa kelegaan di badan! I didnt realise I went to sleep so soundly till next morning.
Wednesday: Conference didnt start too early so I took my time. Discussion was on film 2day. MOre projects from d producer n d director. Ended ard 4pm b4 I rushed back to hotel for d dinner 2nite. I had arranged for people to work on me. So tiba2 d KD-ness aka diva-ness could b felt; 1 workin on my hair, 1 on my toenails n d other on my nails. Cool!
Dinner was alrite. Short n simple. Food wasnt my type. Luckily I had my afternoon high-tea in d hotel. But wat I love most was d view from Menara; it was juz magnificient. I could imagine watchin d serene, tranquil view of KL in d comfort arms of some1. Juz awesome!
Thurs: Another short conference on film. But it was all good. Ideas were exchanged across d room. I had another round of shopping rite afta breakfast so tak terkilan sangat! hehe...
Tis time d trip was juz short n simple. It wasnt merely work but more on understandin n networkin wif our other 2 partners from Sweden n US. I had a great time. I take tis as a short relaxation trip... macam tai-tai; who spends most of her time shopping, goin for spa/massage, dining in hotel... Tats wat I practically do almoz everyday! hehehe. But if Im given a choice, I wouldnt lar... So mundane! But if its done once in a while its kinda alrite;)
Yang penting, best... But Jana is havin much more fun than I do. She's now n finally stepped her feet in Vienna baby!! Haf fun ya sis!
Ok gtg. Im tired. Need my beauty sleep. will update more juicier stuffs (as if!!)

Im bored at tis very moment and thought I should paste wat PM has wrote in his blog abt Anugerah 2007. Read wif an open heart n share ur frankmost opinion:

Hahahaha… Time to unleash my knives out now. But first I need to include a disclaimer. Ok for all you supporters of a particular Anugerah 2007 contestant, please read my review with not a pinch, but spoonfuls of salt. Cos I’m not going to mince my words when it comes to judging them after watching the programme since the audition rounds. As it was the semi-final rounds, a certain amount of standard should have been met and reached but sorely lacking in most of the contestants. Call me an extremely strict judge to please, but if we want to see our local talents flourish and of the same standards as those in Malaysia and Indonesia, we’ll have to stop giving them veiled comments, saying they are good, telegenic, marketable but not delivering as expected when crunch time came.
I was quite pissed off hearing the judges’ comments, being too nice with them. You don’t get these kind of comments across the Causeway in similarly-related talent shows. You call a spade, a spade when you see one. It’s like as though the judges have been told to keep it sweet and sugary for these wannabes. Or fear of another public backlash on being too harsh, which might result in a drop in ratings. Really, our community is too sensitive when it comes to being criticised. They’ll always play the “jangan-jatuhkan-maruah-orang” (don’t degrade one’s pride) card if we were to bring up the topic on criticising. We need to open up and receive criticisms to better ourselves, be it negative or harsh. Only then can we succeed as far as possible. I’m sure this blog of mine will not be approved by the older generation if they were to read my thoughts.

To me, tis yr u cant reali spot d outstanding 1 out. Unlike 2005, d one tat strikes me d most is Syed Azmir followed by Fauzie Laily. Syed Azmir was brave enough to make his move and now slowly making his mark in d Msian industry. Kudos.
Wat I reali hate abt Anugerah tis yr is d judges. I had enuf of "Ada Klas", "Naik daun ah", "baik" etc but there isnt comments tat actually benefitted d contestants. If u peeps caught Gangstarz or Indonesian Idol then u'll noe wat I mean.
Aniwae, I tink d only 2 best singers/performers Spore has produced in tis era is none other than Taufik Batisah and my Hady Mirza.
U may beg to differ but tis is my opinion.
Lets see who gets voted out 2nite of Anugerah 2nite? Will it b controversial, juz like me givin my namecard to 1 of d contestants?? hehehe. Juz wait n c ;)

Ashley Hisham, Spore born designer tat made his mark in London stop over wif Mum n sis. Im juz amazed wif his determination!! He packed his beg n leave Sg way back then n now he's a top noch designer who made appearance on Tyra Banks' America Next Top Model. N he's so humble, down-to-earth n yes, still has his Islamic virtues. Way to go!!

Finally my maid arrived on Thursday (28thJune). Phew!! Now, I can focus on my weddings n plannings n more work!
Yesterday I met up wif my gerlfrend; Kim n Karin. Our meetings r as regular as our menses... ie monthly!! hehe. But it was fun n happening each time we met. Now tat all 3 of us had d same hairstyle (by pure coincidence!) we got people givin us 2nd look wen we walked pass them. haha ;)
