I do not know why.
But I simply love men in pink; any shades of pink. But he must be a REAL man! hehehe.
The reason simply because not every man will be daring enough to be spotted in pink.
At the same time, not every individual can carry the color well.
Oh gosh!
I spotted a man in a well-ironed shirt, sleeves rolled up till elbow length and a slim white tie.

Well, this guy wore exactly what I love to see a guy in!
I mean, he's tall, tanned, handsome without his goatie and he looked so gorgeous in pink!

Before the pictures, I just had a conversation with someone.
She said this, "Kau tau tak kek lapis nutella ada mushroom... Sedap tau...."
I was thinking real hard. I mean I love mushrooms but kek lapis nutella n mushroom doesn't blend!!!! So I had a look n taste the kek lapis Mama bought for us yesterday.
Guess what! Its not mushroom but instead its MARSHMALLOW and BUTTER!!!

I love festive occasion!!!!!
I so love Raya!
Simply because:
1) The food!
The array of so deliciously yummy food! U guys know I love food very much. So Raya is the best time to get rendang, ketupat, dodol, mee soto, sup tulang merah, kacang pol etc, all on the same table. Yes. The best reason to put on weight.
2) The gathering!
The best time to meet all of my so-busy cousins. Catch up with them, share latest infos and of course the bitching. heehe
3) Tv programs are just so fantastic! Yes, you get so many fantastic programs courtesy of Prima Media, SCTV and RCTI to keep you awake all night.
Nevertheless kudos to SURIA for this year Salam Lebaran! Jasmin and Aaron were so effortlessly good. And yes, I fell in love with Fik on this very night! hehehehe.

1st day of Raya
As usual, everyone from my maternal side came to gather at my place. Caca's family is the first to arrive. Soon after, Paklung' side came. Andrew flew back all the way from NY to join us on the morning of AidilFitri. That was very nice of him ;) Kak Ipa was here since Monday, so her jetlag was recovered. Little Amalia is the sweetheart of the family. She really loves the camera and she's so smart!!!!!! Everyone simply loves her for her candid moves n her smile.
Soon after, we get ready for our visiting. Now it's my paternal grandparents @ Jalan Membina. More food, more camwhoring with our cousins n more bitching. (All 1month pahala gone.... cos of the bitching! hehehehe). We proceed to Auntie Aton's place before ending at Mak Ngah's place.
Short and simple.
2nd day
Since its Sunday, all of us laze around home. My dad's siblings came over for lunch.
More TV programs for me! As I watched Melodi, I realized Fafau's wearing the same blue kebaya outfit as Erra Fazira in Ole Ole Raya! My god! But it didn't looked good on Fafau as it did for Erra. Gosh....
Any way, I waited for Stars of Soulful Night (Raya Special) on NTV 7 as Hady is making his debut appearance in Malaysia. He sang well as usual but I'm bothered about his outfit for the 1st segment. But darling put those jeans and velvet blazer aside. You'll look good with iron shirts sleeves rolled till the elbow with smart pants. And thats what he wore for the 2nd segment. Black shirt, white tie and ironed grey pants. But Ziana Zain forever looked gorgeous!
3rd day
Dad had a day off today so we decided to do some visiting. Area to be covered; Bedok and Tampines. So started off at Bik Nay's house-Mak Busu Temah - Nek Busu. Since they all live just few blocks away from each other, that makes visiting so convenient! hehehe. Lepak at Nek Busu's place for quite awhile. We decided to visit Dad's youngest bro, Pak Hitam @ Tampines. After much discussion, Nek Busu, Abg Ami, Makcik CT plus Abg Wandy n his kids decided to come along with us. Its fun to have so many people doing visiting together! Last stop was Auntie Farah's place. Auntie Farah is Mum's business friend who happened to be Dad's classmate. Singapore is so small, for goodness sake!
It was done for us. And it was the other family's turn to came over to our place for visiting. We chat and ate till 2am! Gosh! This is so fun!!!
No wonder they say this is the time to be jolly!

Happy Monday
If Glenn Fredly have Happy Sunday, I've had a Happy Monday.
I received a Raya card yesterday morning. I mean, I've received a few from friends and customers from abroad but this time the envelope looks way too professional. When I opened it up, I got a shock of my life.
Yes, you've seen it right. It's a Raya card from the MP Mr Zaqy Mohammad himself. It's definitely an honor for me to be receiving it from him. Thank you Sir! Ive yet thanked him personally but I will do so soon ;)
Later that afternoon, I had to rush to JB to run some errands. The weather just didn't helped. It was drizzling one moment and humid-hot the very next minute. Cubaan! Upon reaching Sg customs, I received a phone call. A phone call that could change my career path. I'm positive. I'm excited. And I just couldn't wait for the next step. As for now, I'm just blessed. Could "he" be my lucky charm? Hmmmm.....
I finally had my haircut 2day @ Designer's Guys. I really like my new style; Short, simple n easy to maintain. My Kak Ipa is back from New York!! Yippeee! She'll be here for a week to celebrate Raya with us. So that will be a lot of catching up for everyone.
Invitations to open-house has started to flocked in. The very 1st is from Yusry @ his very new bungalow. I've seen it and it's amazingly beautiful. Lapse a few days later will be KRU open-house for the fans @ the headquarters. Mum gonna do 1 also for her friends. So that will keep her occupied. As for me, I will just stay focus on Janz's O Levels.

Busy like a bee
Yes, I realized Ive not blogged for quite some time. Ive been busy. Yes ever since I made my appearance on Rara Bazaar. I didn't know the impact of TV will be this great. But first and foremost, I wanna thank people; I had good friends, close friends, old friends, customers n of course family members sending me well-wishes n supportive words. It is truly encouraging!!! Only 1 or 2 je yang banyak mulut.... but do I look bothered?? hehehe... Hell no! So, Insya Allah with everyone's behind me I will continue to climb. Honestly I'm so touched when my bestie Wak Dol smsed and said he will always give me his moral support in whatever I do. Thank you so much. It just makes me wanna work even harder. Besides that, some commented that I spoke too fast. Yes, thats my norm speed! Hahaha. I could still remember the first time I met Zain a few years back he said " J, boleh tak you cakap slow sikit...??" Hahahhaa. But I guessed now we are so used to each other.
Any way, like Ive mentioned I have been busy. Customers flocked in and it was all good. My siblings appeared on BH the following day about their online T-shirt business. So check out www.eightylapan.blogspot.com
I've not had the chance to do a lot of iftars this year. So far I only had 2 iftars; 1 with my girlfriends and the other with Syamie. Though my girlfriends are Chinese but they truly respect Ramadhan. So we met at 7pm @ The Rice Table Cuppage Center. Buffet style served on table. Great! As for Syamie, he came over to my boutique to have iftar with us before we headed for some sightseeing. hehhee.
Honestly, I need a new hairdo, a new handbag (yeah my Chanel can only be in after October... damn!) and definitely new shoes. But time limits me a lot. So I really don't know what's the outcome... Just wait and see.
Hmmm.... today is my parents' 28th wedding anniversary. N we had nasi brani for iftar as part of small celebration. 28 years of being together, through thick and thin, waking up n seeing the ugly sights, compromising, caring and loving.... I hope I am able to do son 28 years down the road with my hubby.... Just us growing old together... Insya Allah, the day will soon come.
I believe "He" is somewhere out there for me. Just waiting for our hearts to be unite. ;)
