When West meets East
2 days in a row I was at Eastzone.
What am I doing there??
Good question.
I went to Bedok yesterday to visit Azmir's mum. After lepak for while, Jana and I went to meet Tijah @TM. My! I was having culture shock! It was so packed with activities around it. Human traffic was great. I did my shopping in peace for once. Cos I didn't bumped into anyone that I knew, so it was good.
And today, I went to Tampines again. To Auntie Farah's place who became our refuge as me and Jana was caught in a huge rain. It was raining cats and dogs for my both visit to Tampines. What a way to welcome us! hehe. After a nice cuppa of hot tea and fried banana platters, we moved to Tijah's place where Damia had a small celebration. She is so cute! Aliff did came much earlier but we missed him.
Conclusion on Tampines:
- Too many blocks of the same number but different alphabet eg 497A-L @ST45
- People arent that helpful ( We asked where's block 491_ and they said duno!! Gosh... Idiota)
- Very happening malls!!!
- Very good food!!!
Any way,I've been spending a lot of my quality time with my sis. Maybe too much... Cos I just start realising that Ive been stuck with her throughout the past few days (or weeks?? hmm...) and yes, we've planned everything together till 1st Januaray08. hehehe.
So come 2008, we both have our mission!
Our mission is to start searching for our soulmate.
Reasons are simple:
1) Age is catching up
2) We are spending too much time together
3) We wanna be loved and to love again!!!
4) Mum have gave us the dateline to bring home a future son-in-law by end of the year!!!! Mati mati... tentu mati!
So, which means I will be retiring from being CEO of singlehood soon.
I need to make this as 1 of my new year resolutions. The rest is yet to be revealed! hahaha ;)

Counting down the days
Oh my god!
Its 28th December today, which means 3 more days to the new year.
Without us realising, how time really flies.
Many have been asking where or what I will be doing on NY eve.
A bbq! Yes, the last time me and Jana had a bbq was at Cat Farish's place which Abg Azan, Zain, Shah, Sein and the whole list. Amet was so nice to fetch us all d way from Holiday Villa Subang. And that was in year 04/05 Countdown.
Gosh! How we have all aged!

And to kick off the brand new year, me and Jana have planned a karaoke session with Abg Ami, Hidayati and Makcik CT. I bet its gona be a blast! hehe.

As for now, I'm just blessed with all the love, happiness and all the good nor bad stuffs that's been happening. I believe Allah is great. Karma will happen to those who others. I believe ;)

His Retro Birthday Party

Wanted to post this much earlier but I was so busy with my campaign (lol)

- audition was held 2 weeks before the party in order for them to performance
- they planned it so well that there is lucky draw, door gifts and even games!!

KLIFF
It's been exactly a week since KLIFF ended.
A lot of effort, hard work, sweat and tears were put into making this event a success. Alhamdulilah. We pull it off!
I reached KL on Tuesday afternoon. For the very 1st time, I went from SG straight to KL. And the journey seemed forever! I so prefer going from JB. Any way, I wasnt in a hurry. So the time taken can be compensated to catch up on my beauty sleep. I was @ Seri Pacific this time round cos it was nearer to PWTC (for Awards Night). I must say, the service was excellent! The moment my cab alights me at the entrance, the bellboy took my luggage and direct me to the lobby. At the check-in counter I just had to produce my IC and everything was taken care of. They remembered you by your name and started each sentence with "Miss Jihan...".
Honestly, Ive put up in many 5stars hotel but this is definitely the best service ever! Thank you Lina and team for making such a memorable stay, and also all the arrangements.
After checking in, I then went for lunch before proceeding to office. Nothing much to do today. So I just helped with whatever I can. Lepak in the office till late.
Wednesday 28thNov
Woke up for buffet breakfast. I then took my time to get ready for work. Today is the opening ceremony. So we made all the necessary arrangements. I left for One World Hotel together with AC, Rizal and Shahrul. Opening ceremony features the many cultural aspects of Malaysia. I was hoping this event to end early, so I can rush to Stadium Negara to catch Taufik, Abg Azan n Mode for Live and Loud. Too bad, it ended just slightly before midnight! I was almost sleepy by then, and remembering the long day that awaits the very next day I surrendered.

Oh yes, I met Joe Lee aka KlubbKidd. I told him about how I love reading his blog and him being frank plus laser. His reply was simply, "My mum told me to be frank"
And I so agree with him!
Thursday 29th Nov
I met AC and team at Cineleisure around 11am. We have a few symposium on-going and the exhibitions by the companies such as Finas, KRU, Audio Lab etc on basement and ground level. Had lunch @ Ayam Penyet, their very 1st outlet in Malaysia.
To be honest, I didn't Ayam Penyet here. But I just love their outlet in The Curve. I had 2 rounds as a matter of fact! hehehe. Its Hollywood Premiere tonight and the movie was "Enchanted".
My brothers, Janz and D were already in KL so they came in time for the premiere. Everything ended around 11plus. Ac send us back to the hotel. But I was hungry again! I decided to treat the boys at 1 of my favorite food paradise, The Melting Pot @ Concorde Hotel. They serve superb supper buffet at very reasonable price. The variety was good and the ambience needless to say ;) We finished close to 4am! All for the sake of food. hahaha.
Friday 30thNov
I had to fetch Mr Gurmit Singh today alongside Kevin, his manager who reached yesterday. Dino acted as our friendly "chauffeur". I didn't had to be at Cineleisure today. So I got some time of my own after checking in for Mr Gurmit.
Went shopping with Janz and D to the latest mall in town ie Pavillion. Kinda like this place. Its huge. The walkway is spacious and its quiet which means you can shop in peace! Just the way I wanted things to be.
I had to be back in the hotel by 7pm cos I'm having dinner together with the hosts and also creative people from ASTRO. Sarimah Ibrahim is way gorgeous! She's witty, spontaneous and so bubbly. She got along well with Mr Gurmit and I'm sure the event will be a blast!
After dinner, I went to Andy's place (Ali Bistro) for supper. Supper was good! hehhe.
Sat 1st Dec
I woke up feeling a little hoarse. I tried drinking mineral waters but then I realized it got worst! I travel to Cineleisure with a terrible feeling. I knew I wasn't alrite. I knew I was gonna be sick. I met Shahrin Azhar (yes our local producer and his wifey) at KRU booth. Had a short chat with him. I wished I had my normal voice so I can chat happily with him and his wife. Sorry bro! Catch up with Bob and then head for the Malaysian premiere.
Anak Halal was the chosen movie. Farid Kamil was sexy! I mean in the movie of cos. The casts came and soon the whole hall was filled with invited guests, press/media and winners of Era. I am impressed by AdyPutra's acting in this movie. He was there too and yes, he has yet forgotten me! In fact, he is still humble. He is still the same old Hadi Putra that I and family knew. Way to go boy! You know you have done us proud and yes, keep those feet on the ground always.
By the time, premiere was over I was feeling worst then before. But I had rehearsal to attend. Rushed to PWTC and met Jennifer Thomson (the all time producer for Ikon and AIM) there. Thank God, rehearsal was done by the time I'm there. I didn't wanna go anywhere so I had them to call MacD's for us.
Took painkillers and soon I was in lalaland...;)
Sun 2ndDec
Duyung private screening held at Pavilion at 10am today. I was still not in my best condition. Duyung is a collaboration between KRU Film, LineClear Productions and GrandBrils. The scenery was just fantastic! Maya Karin in her Duyung aka Mermaid outfit was way gorgeous. It a very light movie, suitable for all ages and I'm sure everyone will love this movie ;)
Had lunch at Linda Onn's place, My Mum's Chicken Rice before heading to hotel for a short nap. This nap means so much to me. I need to look good despite having a terrible sore throat. And thank god, I brought my lace cheongsam cos it was traditional outfit for the night. Yes, if you are observant, I designed my own dresses. I hate buying off rack as I always wanted to be individual.
By 7pm I was all ready. I prayed for the best.
Ayu, Ac and myself took charge of press and media attendance.

By the time the Awards Night ended, I was feeling drowsy, hungry and my throat was just not right. I had room service again. Despite having a bad sore throat, I finished my meal in 15mins ;)
Mon 3rd Dec
I had errands to run. I did some last min shopping as well. But my throat wasn't being kind to me. I was becoming temperamental. I wanna go home so badly and missing my favorite track doesn't helped at all.
And till now, I've yet recovered from my sore throat and coughing. Ive been to the clinic and tried different kind of remedies. But its to no avail.
So does being in love helps??? hhehe.

Hibernation!
Hey peeps!
I'm back!!!!
Kl was good. In fact it was fantastic.
I lost my voice and was kinda feverish before the Awards Night, but everything went well.
Sorry I had to hibernate my blog since I was away.
I just had too. Too many intruders.
But now that everything's good, this blog will be back to normal.

And yes, there's something I must confess.
For the very first time, I miss Singapore!
And the song I missed the most... guess what???

I missed it so bad that I put it on repeat mode on Jana's MP3 during my return trip.
