From Bandung With Love

Our flight was at 655hours. Garuda being Garuda, it took off at the very minute the clock strikes 0655. Punctuality. I like! Not many people were on this morning flight, thus making me occupied 2 seats. Jana is comfortably asleep in hers.
In 75mins, we landed safely at Soekarno Hatta Airport. The immigration was nice that morning making my ext a smooth one. Saw the counter where our travel awaits us.
Travel an APV like car which can only carry 7 passenger max and they don't wait for it to be all occupied in order to leave. Great!

I didn't sleep a wink throughout my 3hours journey from Jakarta to Bandung, despite waking up at 3am! I observed every single landmark (not many though) but I took notice of the signs and destinations along the way. Travel alighted us right at the doorstep of our Grand Serela Hotel. A dope shit hotel.

Checked-in, had shower and off to recce for nice lunch. Walked around and found Restoran Raja Melayu. Cleanliness has always been the main factor is selecting place to eat. This place is superbly clean and the display of food certainly tempts you. I had difficulty in selection cos most were spicy, not until I saw a my ayam panggang! Yes... it came to my rescue... Not forgetting my sup buntut.

After a hefty lunch, we decided to walk around and recce the array of shophouses that offers wide range of selection for shopping. I just snapped at every buildings that lays before me. They were old yet repainted and beautifully decorated. Just 30minutes around Bandung, I felt at home. The place is tranquil, clean and the people were very polite. Aip and Bon joined us at 4pm wib.
They took us to Rumah Mode via angkut, which was very cute. Rumah Mode is a tourist attraction. A shopping paradise for tourist. So imagine the moment we get there, we heard women screaming, "The Lima... The Lima.." ahhh rupa2 nya makcik2 from Malaysia. They got excited and snapped pixs. That didn't hinder us from shopping! hahaha.

After we are all done with shopping and Asar, we proceeded to Panti Asuhan. Ever since I saw Mama celebrated her birthday at the Panti Asuhan in Batam, I told myself I wanna do the same. Share my joy with those who couldn't afford. Alhamdulilah I managed to do it this year ;) Pak Ustaz read the prayers and then Bon gathered all the kids, got them to stand up and they sang the most beautiful birthday song ever! My darlz has surprised me with a birthday cake. Super sweet of them. I was a lil sad that Fan didn't make it back from Jakarta while Janz and Dad are in Spore. Otherwise it's a complete big family affair ;)
Nevertheless I'm blessed, very contented and grateful for it. It got me crying again.... ish I'm a crybaby at the age of 27! cet! Dadan, Bon's good friend fetched us and was joined by E'et later. They then took us to the peak of Bandung for a beautiful nice view. Dinner at Sierra was superbly romantic and I just wanna get proposed there!!! hehehe. The cool breeze, the great food and accompanied by crazy people just complete the evening ;)

Dropped Mama off at the hotel before we moved to Meity's place for random BBQ session. The BBQ coincides with 1 of their friends birthday. The poor boy was sabotaged later. hehehe...
Day one is Bandung and I feel so loved!

Woke up at 8am wib and headed for a great spread buffet. Took time to enjoy the food. Jana's friend Trias took us for a ride later in her yellow kodok. We drive around Bandung city, enjoying every bits of it. She dropped us off at the hotel at 4pm where Mama headed for the spa and us, shopping again! hahaha. Aip later fetched us and got us to Ciwalk. It's raining cats and dogs at that very moment. And it's turning freaking cold by then.
We moved to Paris Van Java where Fan was waiting for us. Had dinner @ Halaman and ended the night by 2hours full of karaoke session.
Day two was love!
14thNov
Got up so early! 6am wib cos darlz had radio interview. The friendly people of 99ners greeted us and I felt at home ;) Fan had to be in Jakarta and Aip to be in school so we parted after the session. I then accompanied Bon to settle his Haj stuffs. Alhamdulilah he made it there safely ;) More shopping before Bon make his way to solat.
Trias took us to her home for lunch before we drive up to Tangkuban Perahu. The view is magnificent, breathtaking and the temperature is close to 8degrees. Imagine we had those smoke effect when we speak! How dope can that be!
We drove down and reached PVJ at 6pm wib and settled at Man U Cafe (like no choice!!). It was a much awaited session cos we had Darlz and their mums to join us. Even Fan made his way back to Bandung with his brother. It was a nice big family gathering! Just hope more of these session ;)
Mum went back to hotel after that while us, continue. The whole gang (us and Bony's friends) all gathered to bid farewell to him. A very touching session. huhuhu Mas Victor send us home and guess what, I vomited at the 2nd level toilet. I'm sick! Of all the times in the world!!
Day three was love and more love despite being sick!

I had sleepless night cause I felt so uneasy. Got up at 7local time and headed for porridge. I hate being sick while traveling but no choice. Trias and Mama Rini decided to join us for a road trip back to Jakarta. It was so fun! We stopped by Taman Bunga Nusantara and had loads of pixs. Then to kebun teh before having lunch at Cimory, Bogor.
We finally landed Jakarta at 6pmlocal time. Had dinner at Baim's cafe in Kemang and decided to have an early night.

Got up early, feeling fresh! Continued with shopping and more shopping. Had dinner at Pondok Laguna again before meeting Khalif and Kiki for some ngongkrong session.

More shopping before realizing that our flight was at 1455hours not 1855hours! So imagine us rushing back to the hotel and to the airport straight. It was so amazing race style! hahaha. Guess who I met at the airport? Fan!!!!! So I gave him some of my stuffs cos we realized that we've over exceeded the baggage limit. hehee... Mujur ada dia... phew!
Overall, it's a beautiful trip with beautiful people and meeting more beautiful people.
It's all loved!

As you turn older the celebrations get simpler. Just the way I like it.
Short and sweet.
Friday evening, I had a seafood dinner by the park with family.
Family means Auntie Sal's, Nek Busu's and mine.
Nek Hitam's family couldn't join due to unforseen circumstances.
Dinner was on the house by yours truly... hehehe..
I tell you the black pepper crab was superbly delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday afternoon was Syarif's surprised party.
But SleeQaholics did one for me as well...;)
I got home from work and entered the house full of green.
And yes, they popped the poppers and sang for me!
Gosh! I was trying to control jambu u know!! hehehe
Actually kinda paiseh... Da tua pun ada surprise party. hehehe
Then it was Syarif's turn.
He got tears in his eyes when the green gang attacked him at the entrance of the lift. haha.
In a nutshell, the party went well.
Me and siblings later joined Syamie for dinner at Simpang.
Just in time to catch Man-Arsenal game. It ended superbly great! lols
Sunday afternoon was spent cleaning up my new office space and Abg Ami's boutique.
I shall reveal the results later. I am so excited for it ;)
Had dinner with my 2 best girls, Kim and Karin.
Kayden (Karin's baby) and Karmen (Karin's hubby) joined us as well.
It was a great session of catching up, playing session with Kayden and loads of food.
Today I spend it with sis cos Janz was sick.
I just opened a gift done by Irfa. I was so touched by the videos that I cried.
It's a video of my love ones wishing me; Niezza, Suria, SV, Jamz, Fiza O, THE LIMA, Alif, Syarif, Janz, Jana, Mum and Nenek. Not forgetting Irfa herself. I truly appreciate her efforts in compiling all of these. Thank u sis!
This year, I received overwhelming birthday messages.
Thank u all for being part of my life.

Today is the start of my much deserved break.
I've worked so hard and smart of course! I told myself I'm gonna capitalize on my break.
I need to clear my mind, recuperate my tired body, have loads of fun during my trip and enjoy every bit of it. After this break, a change is needed ;)

Menghujam Jantungku
I've had a busy weekend.
I'm back at being a wedding planner every weekend now that the season is back.
I am just so glad that my customer's family are very satisfied with whatever my company has delivered. Alhamdulilah.
I took time to attend Eka's wedding as well.

The day I met Pasha
Meeting Pasha was as close as meeting David Beckham! haha.
I've adored Beckham since 1992 and has a whole collection of Man U jersey (yes, I admit I was a Red Devil before) and all his merchandise. Friends knew this craze and would get me all about him for my keep sake.
But for the last 5 years, I spotted Pasha and his band Ungu. It's just that my craze for him is still at a controllable stage... For DB it's way hell. lols
So imagine me meeting him again yesterday.
Last year, I was shocked. Too shocked to say a word when I met him face-to-face backstage.
Too stunned to take a pix with him.
But yesterday I braved myself and snapped a pix with him. I could still feel the warmth of his hand and that smile of his! Ooooohhhhh.... It's just like a schoolgirl crush! hahaha.
In a nutshell, the show rocks! The sound system was dope. The lightings was dope. The songs selection was dope! Enda and Oncy even sanged... dope! The not so dope part was the crowd didnt go wild singing, the ending was too abrupt and 90minutes felt too short!
Nevertheless I've received 1 of the best pre-birthday present.
I just got back from attending Eka Marina's wedding @Orchid Gardens. It was a nicely planned red-and-black event and it looked so grand. And I, saw "The Charmer"...
