Holiday period!
After my return from the recent Kuantan trip, I've been busying myself with hang out session; with family and friends. It has never been this good! I'm either away(out of the country) or too busy, which is never good. I do not want to end up like "them", No time no life! Thus the recent change is good!
Tuesday, I attended SMCCI Annual Dinner held at Orchard Hotel. We've heard the news that TB will be performing therefore Jana accompanied me instead of Mum... how intelligent of her to psycho Mum in making her go instead. LTB sang Gadis Itu, Nafasku and Me & Mrs Jones. It was good dinner. Well food wasnt fantastic, but the networking and meeting the important people of the Malay Community is. Big names like Mdm Sabariah Ramilan, Mr Suhaimi Jais, Dato' Zain, MP Mr Zaqy and more. But its a pity that other Malay business people didn't see this opportunity and decided not to come.
Wednesday Jana and I decided to meet SV and Irfa for dinner. I felt bad for not being in Spore during her birthday. So the dinner was good. We managed to surprise her with that chocolate slice cake! Janz, D and Syamie were there too.
Thursday was spent at shop. Loads of cleaning up to do. The evening was spent with Aunti Sal, Uncle Mo and siblings. The topic of discussion was super funny!!
Friday I had to wake up so early cos Brondong 2 had some filming to do. We spend almost 8good hours at the location, but thank god the crew was good! I was kinda worn out by the time I reached shop was time to let loose. Gang Lepakz we called ourselves consists of Abg Ami, Syamie, Bryan, D, Janz, Jana and myself attended a party. It was one of the best Ive attended this year. I think we should do this more often. hehehe
Saturday was with family.
Sunday afternoon I had to return to location cos Brondong 2 is required to do 1 extra scene. It was done in less than 2 hours! How I love the crew so much! hehehe. Later met up with my friends from KL who was here for the weekend. More bitching were done ;)
Later that evening had meeting with Brondongz. Alhamdulilah it was all good!
Yesterday Brondongz and I went over to RIA89.7Fm conti to meet up with our beloved DJs. It's been some time since we last met them. I had a great chat with them. Thats for sure.
To be honest, during the past 1 week whenever I met people, shared with them my "decision" and listed the reasons why, I received the best and super encouraging words from them. Never would I expected those from them. But Im blessed! And I could never thank these people enough.
Now, I cant wait for a great 2009!

Seasons of Love
I'm back people! I hope you catch SleeQ, Hady Mirza, Altimet, Adeep and others on SURIA-RTM1 last Saturday. Overall the show went well. It was definitely an experience for us.
Thursday, 18thDec
I picked my boys up at 445am and headed straight to airport. We had light breakfast and waited for the rest to arrive. All of us didn't sleep a wink the night before. So you could imagine how "fresh" we looked! haha. The entourage that day consist of us, Alison, HM, 2 from EV and Khai (who'll only join us in KLIA).
Landed safely at KLIA about 830am. Breakfast again before we headed straight to Kuantan in 2 separate vans. The journey took 4 full hours in which everyone dozed off in style! hahaha.
Didnt checked in though, cos we are behind time. Therefore straight to Auditorium where the boys had quick wash up and did light make up for press conference. It was all good.
We had soundcheck later and by 6pm we are dying to check in to have shower (in which we did!)
Another round of rehearsal starts at 8pm. That lasted till 1plus in the morning. By then, the boys were already 60%wore out. The kind people of Mediacorp took us to KFC by the beach for late supper. The place really reminds me of Bali.
Riff was feeling feverish by then. Gave him medicine and both of them went to bed.
Friday, 19th Dec
Had planned initially to go breakfast with Ally, but we both got up late! Never in my life I woke up at 1130am!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe. Had shower and headed for lunch by the pool with her. Thank God she's around otherwise I'll be so bored to death! We chatted, bitched and shared infos. lol.
Headed for Auditorium again after prayers and waited. We waited and the waiting game begins. Rehearsal begins at 530pm. By the time its our turn, they said they had to do Magrib. Great! So we didn't had our turn until full dress rehearsal later that night.
Full dress begins at around 9plus and ended just before midnight. We headed for Roti Canai and teh tarik which was dope! The good news came later when we are informed about reporting only at 4pm the next day. That was heaven to our ears!
Saturday, 20thDec
Had breakfast with boys and their family who came in pax of 15. They are so super supportive that I truly appreciate them coming. Later the boys continue with their beauty sleep while Ally and I headed for the beach. Like she put it, " we are in the great place but with wrong boys... " sweet! hahhaa.
Woke the boys up and prepare for show. SleeQholic (Msia team) were at the lobby to check in and we chatted a while with them. How I wish SleeQaholic (Spore team) were there!!!
Had radio interview alongside HM, Hart Rancour, Amlyea and Zehra. It was all good.
The show went well. No hiccups about that and semuany cun saja! We returned to hotel only later at around 12plus. Chatted and lepak while with SleeQaholics (Msia team) before camping at HM's room. Th 5 of us just can't stopped discing each...
Thanks to the boys'(well it should be a man and 2 boys... nevertheless, he's still a boy deep down! hahha) laughters, jokes and crazy ideas; that truly occupied us throughout the waiting game!

Ally and HM had already left at 545am that day, while Alyph continues his holiday with parents.
That leaves me going home with Riff. It was all good.
SleeQaholic (Spore team) fetched us at the airport and home coming has never been better!

Decisions?
It's been one of the longest period I went "missing"! hehhee.
Well I wasn't in the right mood to blog actually.
Decision has been made! A tough one indeed but I just gotta do it. So it was done and discussed over coffee. It's kinda sad that things has to turned out this way, but a girl gotta do what she gotta do. But today I felt good cos I stood by my principle and held my integrity high up.
Last weekend a friend from Jakarta came over. I took him out for lunch and continued our chat over coffee (again) and brought him to an event. We left after brondong did their act; took a stroll via the Old Parliament House. We ended the night early cos he has to attend an event that night.
After that night, it got me realized; when was the last time I really went out with a guy? I mean though this guy is just an ordinary friend, but it's interesting, It's been ages since I last went out with a guy cos most of the time I'll be in my comfort zone (my siblings, best friend and Abg Ami). I realized I need to get out of that comfort zone! Thus I've decided to open up my horizon and search for it.
So another decision? Only time will tell ;)
I'll be away to Kuantan this Thursday with brondongs for Muzika Extravaganza. So do catch us and HM plus other local talents on Suria 2othDec, 830pm ;)

KL trip with Brondongs
I left for KL with brondongs on Friday late night. They had their own entourage with them. Boys being boys, they even squabble over the seats; who seats where etc. Even the Auntie (owner's wife) thought that I was their teacher and they were on school excursion! How funny!

Well, the journey seemed extra long to me. We left at 1230am and reached KL at 6am. Checked in and as I was about to take my most precious nap, the boys rang the door bell. "Kak, lets go for breakfast!" Ya rite! No one had breakfast at 630am!! But we did. And we spent 2 full hours having breakfast; waffles, fried rice, cereals and ended with fruits.
I managed to get a good sleep later but was woken up by a phone call at 10am. The organizers were at the cafe for briefing. I came down with just washed face and brushed teeth. The most slack moment in my life. haha
Sound check was at 1230pm. When we reached the boys from Estranged were doing their stuffs. From the sounds of it, I can expect a great blast from them ;) Brondongs had their and by 130pm we're done. I send them back to the hotel for them to chill and relax while I went out to meet Sherine.
Sher was in KL from 15thNov and was there till 30th. We had lunch at Sari Ratu (and it feels like we're in Plaza Indonesia!!! hehehe) and gossiped throughout. Loads of sharing were done. hehhee. She's like one of the very few girls that I could really clicked and get along with. We packed food for my brondongs and chilled at the hotel.
Brondongs had a great show. They sang great, looked great (thanks to Levi's!) and of course they've managed to capture new hearts ;) I'm proud to see their improvement. Event ended at 12midnight. Brondongs were given permssion to chill with their friends while I chilled with mine. Fair enough.

So Keirul brought us to Sri Hartamas as usual for supper and more gossips! hahaha. Mosin, his roommate, Ryzal Kungfu Panda, Shahrul and Saiful were there too. Cool stuffs! The only person missing was Zali. Otherwise it will be a complete "team". hahhaa.

We reached Singapore on Sunday at 8pm. Monday I had to be in my new office and planned the schedule for the month. At 2pm, left for Kembangan where brondongs had run-through and costume fitting for Muzika Extravaganza. They did a short trailer for that as well. It was all done by 5pm and we proceeded to RP for dance rehearsal.

It's been back to back activities for us. But we are enjoying every bits of it. I'm sure the hardwork will pay off one day... sooner or later...;)
