On Cooking LessonsI'm at home on a Thursday afternoon.Ya you may think "wah.. so free.." but hell no!Today's the start of me being the part-time chef! hahaa..I'm not kidding!!My dear Bibik went back yesterday after being with us for 2 years. She's like one of the closest domestic helper ever. Maybe cause she's young so it's easier for her to blend in with us. She's like my PA at times; help me with ironing the boys' outfits, making The Lima stay comfy plus arranging all my documents in order. She has to go home cos her dad is in critical stage of lung cancer. But I hope she'll return soon. Thus in the meantime, we've got a replacement who can't cook. Therefore yours truly is doing the cooking before she leaves for recording later. Today's menu for mama is Fish Head curry and for Janz is Black Pepper Chicken. Thank god Jana is on liquid diet. phew! For myself? Nah... I can't eat what I cook. So I'll go out for dinner later.Let's see what the menu for tomorrow ;)

Live and LoadedI had one of the crazy week.Monday 16thMarchI couldn't eat properly nor think properly. Seriously I don't know why.So I kept myself occupied by searching outfits for my boys. Practically went everywhere but nothing to my liking. Thus I ransacked what we have and put it up on the mannequin.Zara jacket, white shirt, Kenneth Cole jeans and shawl for Rif.Got a few t-shirts for Alif but text him to prepare his own stuffs. In between putting the outfits together, I had to deal with fans collecting the tixs for LnL plus debating on which single to perform for LnL with Rif. So finally a decision has been made and we shall settled for that. The producer requested for lyrics as well. Rif produced Moviestar and I did Aint About Later. That took me till midnight. Toss and turn, toss and turn... finally i managed to sleep around 3-ish am.Tuesday 17thMarchBy 730am I'm up. Took shower, took time to iron my hair and leave home at 9am. I text Rif but didn't reply so since he's still asleep I took train to Woodlands. Take my own sweet time and when the sms stated "I'm ready", I hailed the cab, picked the boy up and straight to Mediacorp. The dancers (Nurul and Marsh) came a few minutes after us. We did our run dry in less than 30mins before being released for break. Without further hesitation, we headed to my office where they could have their naps. Alif was the 1st to doze off. The girls take their spot on the second level, enjoying their MacD's before dozing off. Had lunch with Rif before rushing off to Heeren and Taka to find a white plain T-shirt. Finally got a nice piece from British India. Rushed back to the office and yes, the rest are still soundly asleep!! Gosh.Left my office at 3pm and Abg Yan is already waiting for us at the reception taxi stand. He accompanied us through the full dress rehearsal. Just so much to share! He and his jokes are inseparable! hahaha. My watch strikes 7pm. Met the SleeQaholics at the reception. Not forgetting Janz and D. By this time, my head is spinning in 180degree. Tried my best to control it. While waiting I shared with Nurul n Marsh some dirty secrets. It was so funny that the girls couldn't stop laughing. Hahaha. Then its 815pm. By now, my heart beats faster than usual and my head hurts twice as much.I prayed in silence that I'll be ok.Finally the boys are called to standby backstage. The crowd was amazing. We had 80pax with us that night, so I can imagine the vibes and engergy from the floor. The boys did their thing and it was superbly done. I'm a proud "nanny"(inside joke). Thus Moviestar, SleeQ's 1st English single has been premiere on Live and Loaded.By the time we leave, the reception was filled with SleeQaholics in their "IloveSleeq" tshirt. The girls just made my day. Their love, support and blessings are something that can't never be replaced. We parted ways at 11-ish. Me, Jan and D went to Thomson for prata while the boys and Big Fam went Simpang. Got home at almost 1am.I was deadbeat tired by then. Went to bed around 2plus.Wednesday 18thMarchGot up by 830am and the norm ritual. Go to shop and planned for the Halal Food Expo. Mum decided to take a booth to sell scarf, in which I had to run. 6pm my delivery guy picked me and Janz up to Xpo alongside our goods.I was in no mood to do the set up. So I just leave it there and went BK for light food.Thursday 19thMarchWas at Spore Expo the whole day with Janz. Thank God, D and Uncle later came. Auntie Sal came after work. phew! Again I didnt feel that good. My headaches just wont go away, but I bear with it.Friday-Sunday 20th-22ndMarchI was there at Xpo as usual. My boys took their break; the only weekend that they are free to do so. My phone was superb silent when they are away!! I felt strange for a while... hahaha. Cause dealin with my brondongz means receiving sms-es or calls at any time. Yes it could even be at 2am! One will asked, "by any chance my passport with you?" while the other will ask "kak, you know how much im left in my account...?" Boys! I admit without them my life will be plain boring. It's almost a year that they've been with me and so much have been done. But plenty more to be achieved!Late Sunday afternoon, I received news that my secondary good friend, Hafiz's dad passed away. It's sad to know that in the beginning of the first 3 months of 2009, I've got to encounter deaths and lost. That just makes me appreciate life and people around me better.I'm looking forward to another great week ;)OutzJJ@24thMarch2009, 1219hours

Boys and soccer!I've had a fantastic weekend.Friday the 13th. 2009 has 2 Fridays the 13th. How spooky to some! But mine was dope!Jana and I got invited for Cleo's 50 Eligible Bachelor Finals. Without thinking any further we RSVP the moment we got the invites. Imagine 50 cute guys (which I hope are straight men) on 1 stage! The thought of that almost kills me. hehehe. So Abg Ami and Janz tagged along since d invites for 2.
Just the 3 of us
My favorite uncleMy favorite for the night gotta be Bachelor 1; super duper cute with great abs! Jana's favorite gotta be that Vivian guy, who emerged winner as expected. It was superbly entertaining!! Hossan Leong was such a great host; Dancing Queen and all. My favorite for the whole night was when The Eligible Bachelor Band performed. They did "I will Survive", "Friday Im in love" and a last song which slips my mind cos I was focusing too much on the Bachelor 1 who's on guitar!!! hahaha. Crazy me. It ended slightly late. Stayed on to mingle and party for awhile before heading home to rest.
The Band
2009 Cleo's Eligible Bachelor, Vivian DawsonOn Saturday evening, me and Jana headed to Norfa-Bai's baby shower. The theme was blue. I came with my white shirt and blue scarf (which Jana insist it's purple.. color blind lah dia ni..hehe). Kak Ezreen and kak Nina were there too alongside the other soccer/SQ mamas. A great gathering with great company plus great food! We left around 6plus cos we've got another gathering session with Gang Lepakz.
Us and the mom-to-be, Norfa
Sexy mommas n single ladiesSheyna + Shahir, Abg Ami, Syamie + his girlfriend Aishah, D' and us had so much fun at SUFI. The norm food plus the soccer game just completes the perfect night. D' faced a terrible lost. 4-1 to Liverfools is totally insane. And I now owes someone dinners... ;(Somehow rather the gatherings puts certain issues aside.Thank you people!Of all the times in the world, I've gotta give Brian McKnight one night only performance a MISS!! Well my boys got a show to do. So I guess I've sacrificed well. huhu. But someone's going for a "date", have fun with One Last Cry... ;)OutzJJ@16thMarch2009, 0018hours

When enough is enoughA friend told me this morning that she's sick and tired of her lifestyle.Everyone who knows her will thinks that she's leading a very good and comfortable lifestyle. But after she spoke to me, I then realised that what I and friends saw on the surface is so different from what she's facing for the past 27 years of her life.During her secondary school days, she wasn't allowed to go out with her friends over the weekend. No chalets, no going to movies and no studying outside of home etc. All group projects to be done in her comfort home. So she busied herself with school activities. Weekends will be busy gathering at her parents' business office. Then during her poly years the same cycle happened above. She would have to lie if she wanna go out with her poly-mates cos they just wont allowed. Her weekends were burnt by helping out at the business. Her parents' businesses became her lifetime commitment. Her social life is gone. Her weekends are always burnt. She started to lose friends over the years cause she didn't have time for them. Boyfriends? Most guys are just too afraid to approach her cause of her parents high profile. Her parents are always in the limelight. Due to that her movements outside are being scrutinised by the public. No holding hands with her boyfriend, n0 clubbing no this and that. She has to always appear prim and proper. She has no freedom to her name. Yet she still endured it.But today morning when she's being accused of not being committed, of not being responsible and of being selfish, she finally had her final straw! She told me her wish now is just to get married and run away from all these shits. Cause she just had enough.I understood her plight. I too do not want to be in her position. But I guess Allah has it all written. She might suffer now, but her future years will be brighter, no one knows. But for me I always believe having a simple life is always the best that one could ask.Don't ask for fame, wealth or being among the rich and famous.Just ask for a great family, stable job, happiness and good health. At the end of the day, we are just here on the temporary platform. To my friend, be strong. There's a reason for everything.OutzJJ@12thMarch2009, 2225hours

Updates! Here's some updates way back from 25thFeb-1st March:So after spending 2days in JB at my friend's place, I had to rush to KL the very next day to meet some supplier. It was very Amazing Race style! Imagine this. I took the 8am coach from JB, reached KL at 12, had lunch and meet the lady supplier. And I managed to take the 3pm executive coach from KL back to Spore. So by 8pm I was at home and resting in front of my TV. I was super worn out!! It's amazingly tiring. But I just did it!On Thursday, brondongz had rehearsal for PP10. Song was written by them but lyrics were by Wan Firza. Its very interesting how the boys had to do intro for the variety category ;) They had difficulties at 1st to memorize it. But come Friday (during the show itself), they did well. I know the brondongz's segment was too short! But don't despair... more good shows to come!! hhehe. On Saturday evening we had a surprised birthday party for Faizal Isa, my new talent. Brondongz came along to mingle with fans. Thanks to Fad and Abg Yan for coming to the BBQ. Loads of fun and laughters (plus gossips!) hehhee.Mum celebrated her 51st birthday in a simple style. The family had seafood dinner before paying Tok Busu a visit. Apparently he's being diagnose with liposome cancer. Hopefully he'll be strong to fight against it.I've been in good mood. Good stuffs are coming my way and I can never thank Allah enough for all HE has install for me. Only HE knows what's best.Pixs to be uploaded soon ;)OutzJJ@8thMarch, 2227hours

In Loving MemoryI've been retyping, deleting and retyping this entry.Till today, I can't believe I've lost a great friend. But as a Muslim, I've got to accept Kadaq and Qadar. On 22nd Feb, Dad sms all the way from Aussie to inform us that our friend met an accident. We were so shaken by the news. We tried to deny that but by 5pm the news was confirmed. On that fateful day, the family of 3(the late, his wife and 8months old baby) were on the way back from lunch. They were driving on a stretch of straight road and apparently it hit the divider, swirled a few times before hitting a tree (that's smaller than our lamp post) before going down hill about 50m in height. The baby who was breastfeeding at the back seat swings towards the dashboard while his wife hits the front seat. Him, was sacrifised at that moment. The whole family rushed to Nusa Perdana, where they were living. The wife is uncontrollable and us couldn't stop weeping as well. I still can't accept the news until I finally saw the dead body at the mortuary the very next morning. The face that bidded goodbye on the previous Sunday was resting peacefully.
What was so unbelieveable was that they came exactly a week ago. They paid us visit and also wanna buy car seat for his baby. We chatted and joked about so many things. He has always been so jovial, funny, never missed his prayers and a very very good man.
What's heartbreaking was when they removed his wedding ring and passed it to his wife before "bathing and cleaning up".It breaks my heart but Allah loves him more. He has always tell me," Ji when your wedding, I'll travel all the way to Spore.. cos u did the same for mine" His wedding was held in Kuantan and I had to travel alone to join Mum and Dad who reached a day earlier. We became close cause I helped them in their wedding preparations till their baby is born. It's heartbreaking cos for the 1st yr of their marriage the wife is still stationed in Kuantan while he works in Spore. The wife just moved to Johore after there's vacancy in the clinic. This 10th March it will marks their 2nd year anniversary, however he wont be able to be with her.To Arwah Putra 'Ataillah, semoga roh mu dicucuri rahmat, diletakkan disamping orang2 yang beriman. AlfatehaTo NazarI hope you'll be strong. We'll go through this together.OutzJJ@5thMarch2009, 1926hours
