The industry
I guess everyone's been talking about Kris Allen victory over Adam Gaybert.
Some says he doesn't deserve the win. But I've never doubted him to win.
In fact I predicted for him to win big... Remember Aina? haha
So far, I've never been wrong with my predictions. I've picked Hady to win the day he step into the audition room, David Cook the day he sang Always Be My Baby and loads others to win in reality competitions. So imagine me being the odd when everyone asked who'll win.
Then on Thursday morning I received sms-es from friends with text, "How you know??????" hahaha... Ok, I just do ;)
Reason is simple. Adam may have the perfect vocal and that gothic image. His confidence can bring him far. But he doesn't have that X-factor and that certain package. Entertainment is a cruel world. People wants to see fresh-cute-sellable face with clean image. Vocally can always be done later. The artiste must also be creative otherwise their performances will get too mundane.
I'm not an expert in this industry. I'm still learning; learning to bring out the best.
Being in the industry for almost 6 years have taught me alot.
It's not all about the glitz and glamz. It's more than that.
There's more shits. It's so dirty!
Artistes often will get big-headed once fame gets into their head and soon forget all their manager's hardwork. Managers cheating on the artistes' salary. Organizers not paying up. Bitching among artistes and the list goes on...
Recently I've been facing a lot of obstacles and issues. I've never been a quitter; never in my life!
But these obstacles kept coming in... one after another.
I felt like throwing in the towel and called it quits.
But then again, let's all look on the brighter side of life.
Hopefully ada hikmah behind everything that has happened.

Chances
I'm upset! Period!
Should I give another chance?
I'm tired of giving people chances and in the end, the results turned out to be the same.
They don't learn from mistakes! He never learns!
I'm tired!
It's not just once but it's the 3rd chance that I'm giving now.
And I hate it when people take things lightly.
Yes, you may think and feel I will not do it after all that we've been through.
But just don't make me do it.

16th May
!6th May last year, I met 2 creative young boys over dinner at Pizza Hut Suntec City. I could still remember their eagerness, their sincerity and their passion for great music. 1 year have passed and so many things have come our way. We worked hard together and play hard together. They are my babies now and I want them to achieve greater things in life.
Insya Allah we will. I'm positive.
16th May this year, I had dinner with my team from LoveMusic Entertainment Sdn Bhd. Yes, I have my very own office based in KL managed by 2 great people; Aina and Karrot. I hope we'll work hard together and achive the best in this industry.
So hopefully 16th May next year, I'll be having meeting with my team from Jakarta.

Rewind
Let's rewind to last week.
One of the best week ever...(minus wednesday!)
At least this will keeps me away from something that's been troubling my mind at the moment.
Monday, 4th May
It was a great Monday. Was in my office doing stuffs till 4-ish before I met my double-chin brondongz at Mediacorp reception. The paranoid one is in the premises as he's on internship.
It was all good. They go live on SURIA at around 9pm and did 1minute-plus of their current hit. At that moment then I realized, Cun Saja has been on air since January 5th! It's time to release a new single!!
Left building at 10ish after the cleaning up n stuffs.
Tuesday 5th May
Janz was feeling miserable in the morning. I accompanied him to the doc's and he's out the whole day. Poor boy!
Rif came over after work to complete the mix and we can't wait for Saturday!
Wednesday 6th May
I woke up at 5am for KL day trip. Since Mum isn't well, I took cover and went up to meet her suppliers. Reached KL by 12. Had lunch and did a lil shopping and waited for the supplier. The supplier was supposed to come at 130pm but she finally turned up at 330pm!
By then I was all frustrated and pissed!!!!!!!! I missed my 3pm coach cos of her!
To make things worse, Mum lashed at me for being impatient and for wanting to come home early for rehearsal. DAMN! I just hate this feeling!
Reached Spore at 9pm and was too worn out to be angry at anyone. Took shower and watched Idols.
Thursday 7th May
My baby brother is still down with fever and headaches. I brought him to another doctor. He's down for the week. I just hope he'll recover fast enough for the concert cos I need him backstage! hehe.
Later the day I had a meeting at River Valley, which turned out to be great. It ended earlier than expected. So I walked around CityLink Mall; resisting my temptations to shop. So I ended up at Galare having Chocolate Chips waffle with Double Chocolate ice-cream. Dragged Jana down from school to accompany me. hehe. It was a good sisters' high tea session.
Went to meet the dancers in RP for rehearsal. Ended at 10pm before sending all home. The late car rides with Isaac and Nurul was so fun!
Friday 8thMay
Was in the office till 4-ish. Pak Usman and Ibu Luki were there for lunch. They came to bid farewell as they are going back to Jakarta. How nice of them!
I went to Suntec to return the outfits worn on Monday before heading to Esplanade for production meeting. Babes and her team were so professional and loved! It was a brief session so I proceeded to RP to meet Janz and Nurul. Raimi was there too. Nurul shared her experience earlier. Thank God she's alright! Phew!
Rehearsal starts at 6ish and we ended by 830pm cos we had to be in RIA conti by 845pm.
The boys go live on air at 9pm. They just had too much laughters! Nity asked to name some of their favorite pencuci mulut... they said listerine! ~slaps forehead~

Had late dinner at Simpang and then back home. I was feeling a lil under the weather by then.
Washed up and tried to sleep by 2-ish am.
Saturday 9th May
I couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned from 430am to 8am!!!!!!!!!! I got up for breakfast and in less than 5minutes I threw up numerous times. I was feeling terrible. Took all the medications that's possible and tried to sleep. I think I took power nap of 1hour cause by 10am I'm kinda good.
Prepared the stuffs to be brought later and got ready. Rif picked me up before we grabbed food for dancers and picking Alif up. They had their vocals run in the car ;) Practise makes perfect!
We reached Esplanade at 3pm and was brought to the dressing room. It was dope shit! The whole walkway was filled with KD's pixs and names designated to different people of her entourage. We found ours with SLEEQ on it. whoohoo! The dancers came in 15minutes later.
We're up for rehearsal plus soundcheck at 5pm. We entered the concert hall and saw Mbak KD. The lights went on and when she sees my boys she said," Hello SleeQ... Tq ya perform buat saya..." Gosh! She's the most humble diva ever!
My boys took the stage. Everything falls onto the right places; the lightings, the sound system, their pitching and delivery. Even during rehearsal, I got tears in my eyes. Emo lah! hahaha
By 715pm we are all ready. We did our prayers before the show and hope that everything goes well.
At 730pm, my boys took the stage. It was kinda low key for the moment till Alif did his punchline. It goes "she aint abt cars, she aint abt money, she aint abt hunkies, but 1 thing she likes abt me cos Im opening for Kris Dayanti.." That got the whole concert hall roared!
That moment the whole audience stayed glued to them for the whole 20minutes!!! We received t loud applause and cat whistles after the performances. It was perfect.
We celebrated our success in the dressing room with Chicken Rice... lol.
The dancers had to leave by 9pm while me and the boys got ready for meet-the-fans session and post party. The moment the boys stepped out of the concert hall they were surrounded by new fans!! 90% of them are Indonesians; the young and old. The reviews from them were good. Alhamdulilah.
We headed for post party after all the phototaking sessions. Mingled around with Rossa, Amir Luqman (one of Malaysian's great designers), Melly Goeslaw, Yuni Shara, Ilis Dahlia and Intan Nuraini ;)
Ya Allah, thank you for everything.
Thank you for giving me the strength to go through this.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do the things I love.
Thank you for answering my prayers.

Proud Nanny
Syukur Alhamdulilah.
It went perfectly and superbly well last night.
No words to describe how I felt.
I had tears in my eyes after the whole performance.

Busy like a bee!
Last Tuesday we celebrated Syamie's birthday. It was so hilarious! Syamie caught us off guard so we had to divert his attention and pretend that we didn't remember it's his birthday! He looked kinda sad that none of us wished him! hahaha. The surprise came in much later. In nutshell the celebration was simple, fun, spongebox square pants jokes, sabo-ing and free entertainment from Janz. lol

But kudos to his girl for being part of this scheme. I mean after all the girls he's been with, she's the best so far; crazy, happening and fun to be with. Most importantly she could accept my presence as his best friend. Period!
The next day, I went outfit selection with my boys. As usual I'm there half an hour early. I scanned through the collections and picked out the best for the boys. I know their individual style which makes it easier. They just come and try them on later. The session was fun! Thanks to Polo Jeans & Co for the kind assistance and Pei Ling, the assistant marketing manager for being an angel.
Thursday I was all alone at shop. Jana had school and Mama was down with flu. It was all good. Went to RP for the dance rehearsal. It was compact! Just love the team ;)
On Friday evening, we had a small gathering at our place. Its in conjunction with Shah's birthday. Pak Osman Paloh's family came as well. He's the elder brother of the respectable Pak Surya Paloh, an Indonesian media tycoon who owns the Media Indonesia daily newspaper and Metro TV, a 24-hour news televsion network. The family is so humble, so down-to-earth and so love!
Saturday evening members of SAAC had an impromptu dinner minus Syamie and Aysya. We ended up in Cuppage having 3 hours of karaoke! Another session of endless laughters! Janz did his thing; sang, dance and entertain us while D surprisingly had very nice Indo voice! I bet his inspiration is Ariel. hehehe.
Sunday was a more chill session with my family. Since Ayah is in Singapore, we spend most of our time chilling and catching up. He might be going Aussie again ;)
Gotta go. I'm having another busy week. It's 4more days before KD's concert and I have yet got my outfit! huhu
